Company 'Coronovirus' Statement 20th March 2020

The Coronavirus pandemic sees us in unpredictable times and Lanier as a Company would like to update you on how we are preparing, dealing with the situation and understanding the impact on us all.

Operations, at present are continuing as normal as possible and we have been assured by our suppliers that there is no shortage or delay in parts and consumables.  We would kindly ask you all to be mindful when ordering consumables, to allow this to continue.

We are monitoring daily the news around the Coronavirus and what it means for us in the UK. After considering how best to ensure the safety of staff and customers in these trying times and to allow the business to continue functioning as best as possible, we have decided to put in place the following measures, until further notice:

  • We are acting swiftly to minimise all external visitors from visiting any of our offices including customer visits. Any non-essential meetings or visits have been postponed or cancelled.
  • Our engineers have been instructed to clean any copier they work on before and after contact with the device for the safety and peace of mind of our customers.
  • In support of the guidelines issued by the Government surrounding social distancing as far as practical, those who can work from home are doing so and our Engineers are now going straight to customers instead of coming to the office to minimise contact.
  • All staff have been advised to stay alert for symptoms in both themselves and our clients and to exercise caution.   The have been asked to practice the highest levels of personal hygiene including regular hand washing.
  • Self isolate for a minimum of two weeks if anyone they have come into contact show any signs of symptoms.
  • Contact NHS 111 if uncertain about any of the above.

We would like to wish all our Customers, Suppliers, employees & associates the very best in these uncertain times ahead of us.

Kind regards

The Lanier Team
